My first love was portraiture. I followed a strong urge to switch to abstract eight years ago, but always knew faces would find a way back into my work. I didn’t begin this piece intending for it to become a portrait, but I felt inspired in the moment and went with it. For me it carries a strong, divine feminine energy.
