My favorite part about this piece is that it has a beautiful, luminescent quality. When the light hits the gold it reflects, creating a feeling of sunlight breaking through fog. Painting is always reminding me of deeper truths and often mirrors experiences or understandings that I have recently had. This painting speaks about seeing through the masks that we wear, to the truth and beauty of our soul.
